Launched on 25 April, MTS France is set up to provide an electronic trading platform for French debt. Mr Laurent Fabius, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry, wishes to express his satisfaction with this launch, which hails a further step in the creation of an efficient public debt market managed at minimum cost.
This platform will trade all French public debt securities (OATs and BTANs) and help further increasing the liquidity and transparency of the French debt market.
The commitment of Paris Bourse and the French primary dealers, all of whom being MTS France shareholders, demonstrates the dynamism of the French financial market.
