戦略委員会は国の債務管理においてフランス国債庁を補佐し、SVTと共に発行政策の基本方針について助言します。債務管理の基本原則をより深め、その具体的な実施を助けます。発行政策の基本方針について助言できるよう、委員会は様々な分野での有識者で構成されています。
戦略委員会は政府の発行政策と手持ち資金の管理を司る基本原則についての独自の見解を示し、現在の慣行と将来の展開についての意見を述べる役割を担っています。
戦略委員会は年2回開催されます。この定例会議は国債庁総裁である国庫・経済政策総局長にとって、国債庁長官とそのスタッフを伴って、現下の経済金融情勢に照らして 国債庁の 活動を振り返り、将来の活動の見通しについて説明する機会となります。
