Anthony Requin
Chief Executive


Anthony Requin has been appointed Chief Executive of Agence France Trésor as of 6 March 2015.

Mr Anthony Requin is a graduate of Ecole nationale d'administration (ENA), former student at Institute d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and a graduate of Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC). He joined the Treasury, in 1998 where he held different positions in the Multilateral Affairs Division and in the State Shareholding Agency. He was advisor for France at the IMF and then Alternate Director for France at the Word Bank (2002-2005). From 2006 to 2009 he held the position of head of the Insurance Products and Markets Division. He joined Agence France Trésor as Deputy Chief Executive until 2012, then was Deputy Assistant Secretary of Corporate Financing and Financial Markets. Since June 2013, he served as Assistant Secretary of the Department Multilaterals Affairs and Development and was as such Co-Chairman of the Paris Club.

On 19 April 2016, Antoine Deruennes was appointed Deputy Chief Executive of Agence France Trésor.

Antoine Deruennes is a graduate of the London School of Economics (2001), a graduate of ENSAE (École nationale de la statistique et de l'administration économique, 2001) and France's Ecole Polytechnique (1999). He began his career at the Directorate General of the Treasury (DGT), where he served as a deputy in various bureaus of the Forecasting Directorate (2001–2005). He then joined the Euro Area and EU Public Finance Unit at the European Commission's Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (2005–2008). He subsequently returned to the DGT, where he headed up the Public Finances Outlook bureau, and then the Domestic Diagnosis and Forecasts bureau. From 2012 to the present, he was head of the Public Finances Division, where he was responsible for public finance forecasting as part of the preparation of budget acts, multi-year public finance planning acts and the stability programme.
