AFT adopted two new indicators designed to assess its issuance and debt management policy, in addition to average debt maturity. This is partly an early response to the requirements of the new Institutional Law on Budget Acts (Loi Organique relative aux Lois de Finances or LOLF for short), which places a much greater focus on performance analysis (Government Debt and Treasury Management (PAP)). These indicators are internal benchmarks which involve comparing the impact of AFT’s decisions during the year with a blind strategy in which no tactical choices are made.
